Preparación Bautismal

• CIC 1213 El santo bautismo es el fundamento de toda la vida cristiana, el pórtico de la vida en el espíritu ("vitae spiritualis ianua") y la puerta que abre el acceso a los otros sacramentos.  Por el Bautismo somos liberados del pecado y regenerados como hijos de Dios, llegamos a ser miembros de Cristo y somos incorporados a la Iglesia y hechos partícipes de su mission; Baptismus est sacramentum regenerationis per aquam in verbo ("el bautismo es el sacramento de la regeneración por el agua con la palabra").

• El Curso Pre-bautismal es mandatorio para los Padres y Padrinos y es impartido el tercer viernes de cada mes de 7-9 p.m.   No hay Preparación Bautismal en el mes de Julio.  

• La preparación bautismal para Padres y Padrinos (en español) es impartida de manera presencial, necesita completar registro para poder participar.

• Celebración del Sacramento -  Deberá ser programado para realizarse,  

• Las personas interesadas deberán registrarse para participar, llamando a la Oficina 780-455-6300.

Baptism Preparation

• CCC 1213 Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis iauna), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.  Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word"

• The Baptism Preparation Course is mandatory for Parents and Godparents, The course  is held every third Friday of the month, from 7-9 pm.  We do not have Baptismal Preparation in July.

• The Baptismal Preparation for parents and godparents (in Spanish) is now in person, you need to complete registration to be able to take the course.

• Baptisms - It has to be programmed through the office to take place. 

•  You must be registered to participate, call 780-455-6300.

La preparación para los padres que desean dar la bienvenida a un niño pequeño a la Iglesia comienza con una reunión con la Asistente Pastoral. Juntos, serán guiados a través de los requisitos para que su hijo sea bienvenido en la Iglesia.

Primera Reconciliación y Primera Comunión – CIC 1325

CCC 1325  La Eucaristía significa y realiza la communion de vida con Dios y la unidad del Pueblo de Dios por las que la Iglesia es ella misma.  En Ella se encuentra a la vez la cumbre de la acción por la que, en Cristo, Dios santifica al mundo, y del culto que en el Espíritu Santo los hombres dan a Cristo y por él al Padre.

La Preparación para la Primera Reconciliación y Primera Comunión es ofrecida a niños mayores de 7 años que sepan leer y escribir. 

El Sacramento de la Reconciliación es cuando un niño se está preparando para asistir a su Primera Confesión.  El Sacramento de la Primera Comunión es cuando un niño se está preparando para recibir la Comunión por primera vez.

First Communion and Reconciliation – CCC 1325

CCC 1325 The Eucharist is the efficacious sign and sublime cause of that communion in the divine life and that unity of the People of God by which the Church is kept in being. It is the culmination both of God's action sanctifying the world in Christ and of the worship men offer to Christ and through him to the Father in the Holy Spirit".

We offer the Preparation for the First Reconciliation and First Communion to children 7 years old, who already know how to write and read. 

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is when a child is preparing to attend their First Confession.  The Sacrament of First Eucharist is when a child is preparing to receive Communion for the first time.

CIC 1285 ...a los bautizados "el sacramento de la confirmación los une mas íntimamente a la Iglesia y los enriquece con una fortaleza especial del Espiritu Santo.  De esta forma quedan obligados aun mas, como auténticos testigos de Cristo, a extender y defender la fe con sus palabras y sus obras"

La Registración para  Catequesis de Confirmación está cerrada.

CCC 1285 ...the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.  Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed.

The Registration for Catechesis for Confirmation is now closed.

Matrimonio – CIC 1601

CIC 1601 "La alianza matrimonial, por la que el varón y la mujer constituyen entre si un consorcio de toda la vida, ordenado por su misma indole natural al bien de los cónyuges y a la generación y educación de la prole, fue elevada por Cristo Nuestro Senor a la dignidad de sacramento entre bautizados"

A las parejas que se han comprometido recientemente y planean casarse, se les pide contactar la oficina parroquial por lo menos 1 año antes de la boda.

Para solicitar la lista de requisitos, dentro de los cuales está incluido recibir el Curso Pre-matrimonial, tramite de documentos, completar Sacramentos, etc.  Puede escribir olguadalupe.spanish@caedm.ca    

CCC 1601 "The matrimonial covenant, by which a man a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament".

Los 2 dias son mandatorios.

El sacramento del matrimonio es la unión de una pareja, hombre y mujer, declarando su amor y uniéndose bajo el sello de Dios. Por favor, póngase en contacto con la Oficina de la Parroquia para programar un horario para entrevistarse con el Padre Augusto y para determinar cómo nuestra Parroquia puede servirle mejor en esta celebración.

 The sacrament of Marriage is the bringing together of a couple, man and woman, declaring their love and uniting them  under the seal of God. Please contact the Parish Office to set up a time to meet with Fr. Augusto to discuss how our Parish may best serve you in this celebration.
